6 Tips For Easy Parking

Driving a straight road is relatively easy. A clear understanding of the shape of the car and proper use of the throttle and brakes can lead to forward driving. But there are some tricks for rear or parallel parking. Using these techniques can park the car safely.

There are two rearview mirrors (mirrors) on either side of the vehicle to view the rear view. The two mirrors assist in rear-viewing as well as mathematical parking. Apart from this, the car can be easily parked through the idea of the distance between the car handle and the car in front and the mirror settings.

Parallel parking

When a parking space has front and back cars and another car is parked in between, this parking is called parallel parking. In this type of parking, one must first stop after the rearview mirror of the vehicle in front is parallel to the mirror of one's own car. Now move the gear shifter to reverse gear (power to go backwards) or 'R' position and turn the steering wheel fully to the right. You have to come back slowly. When the right side headlights of the rear vehicle are fully visible in the left side mirror, step on the brake and turn the steering wheel as far to the left as it was turned to the right. The vehicle should be moved slowly backwards. The steering wheel should be brought to the straight position when the right side rearview mirror is parallel with the driver's side door handle. Now the car will be parked directly in the empty space. This trick is reversed for left side parking.

In case of keeping the car behind the car

While driving, the engine bay or hood is usually not fully visible from the driver's seat to the front of the car. In this case the distance has to be understood with the help of estimation. However, when you are behind another car, you can see the bumper of the front car and get a clear idea of the distance between the car and the car. If you look from the driver's seat to the bottom of the front car's bumper, the car is one meter away. In this situation, even if there is a car in front, you can easily take out your car. If the trunk opener or boot space opening is parallel to the floor, the vehicle has only 30 cm of space in front. In this case, it is wise not to move forward.

In case of parking the car in the garage

Garages under houses have limited parking spaces. In this case, special precautions have to be taken to park the car. The space on the right side of the vehicle's steering wheel is measured parallel to the right side of the steering wheel. Thinking in a parallel line, the right side steering wheel edge is where the car wheel and the end of the car are located. In the case of the left side dimension, the end of the wheel and body of the right side of the vehicle is parallel to the end of the wiper on the right side of the vehicle. In the case of parking, it is possible to park the car easily after gaining an understanding of these two dimensions. In reversing the vehicle, the side looking glasses should be set in such a way that the two rear wheels can be easily seen from the driver's seat. Then the car will be protected from the risk of rubbing around.

If the lower part of the rearview mirror is parallel to the pavement when reversing the vehicle in an open space, the distance between the vehicle and the pavement will be 30 cm.

There is a trick to the electronic mirrors, which when used automatically allows the mirrors to see the wheels when reversing. Changing gears to go forward again will help you see the car behind or the road. For this, first the gear lever of the car should be brought to 'R'. Then the two-way mirrors should be set so that the rear wheel is visible with the help of adjusters. Then again bring the gear shifter to 'P' or parking mode. However, if you use backgear later on, it will automatically show the rear wheel.

Direct parking

The size of the car can also be a dilemma for the driver when parking the car straight. If the car is parked in front of the sidewalk on a road, if the lower part of the rearview mirror and the size of the road seem parallel, then brake immediately and stop. In this condition, the distance of the car from the sidewalk or road will be only 30 cm. If the car has to turn head-on, the distance between the car and the pavement will be three meters if the hood of the car and the front of the pavement are equal. In this condition, the car can be turned safely either to the right or to the left.

To rotate the car transversely

If the front car is horizontal, turning the car requires turning the steering wheel when the center of the car hood and front car wheel rims are equal. In this condition, the car will turn without rubbing with other cars on any side, right or left.

In case of taking the vehicle out of parking in reverse gear

If there are two cars on either side of the car after parking it in a straight line, then the car should be brought straight back to get the car out. When the car's looking glasses cross the boundary of two cars, the car can be driven out by turning the steering wheel to the right or left, keeping a distance from the other vehicle.

Modern cars have 360-degree rear cameras and parking sensors, with the help of which it is easy to park the car by looking at the in-car monitor.
